About Me

My name is Eli McKenna, I am a designer and technician originally from Lowell, Massachusetts. I have my BA in Theatre Design & Technology with a minor in Arts Administration from the University of New Hampshire.

I specialize and center my experience in lighting design and electrician work. The past two summers have been spent with Surflight Theatre as a technical intern for their summer season and now as the Assistant Technical Director and Lighting Designer.

My philosophy as a theater artist is that of avid immersion and collaboration. I thrive around creating work that is grounded by a passionate and collaborative team.

In my personal time, I always have music playing, practicing my cooking skills and reading when I have the time.
